Am I Required To Have A Meal Plan? Students who are assigned housing accommodations in the highrises (Hodshouser, Scott, Moore and Sanford Halls) and the suites (Sycamore, Cedar, Hichory, Hawthorn, Oak, and the suites in Witherspoon and Cypress) are required each semester to purchase one of the required meal plans.
How Do I Choose The Best Meal Plan? We offer a varieth of Meal Plan options because everyone has different dinning preferences. When considering a meal plan, first evaluate the number of meals and snacks you usually consume in a week. Next, decide how often you will be dining in the all-you-care-to-eat dining hall. Remember to take into consideration your class schedule and where you spend your weekends. Then, choose the Meal Plan that best fits your lifestyle.
What Meal Plan Offers The Greatest Value? Plan H, 19 meals per week with $100 Declining Balance offers the lowest cost per meal and works best for the person who eats two to three full meals per day. Plan H is new this year and we expect it to be very popular. Historically, Plan C has been the most popular choice among freshmen students.
What If I Choose A Meal Plan And Then Decide It's Not Right For Me? Students are allowed to make one free Meal Plan change; any changes beyond this and you will be charged a fee of $25.00. Students required to have a meal plan may change plans during the same two-day period allowed for housing room changes. Students who are not required to have a meal plan may make changes anytime until Fall / Spring Break.
Where Can I Go For Information On Menus, Break Schedules, And Hours Of Services? Easy! call the Menu Line at 70-687-2020. Through the Menu Line you can easily access information on daily menus, hours of service, break schedules and special events in the dining halls.
What If I Have Special Dietary Needs? Campus Dining privides vegetarian entrees at each dining facility. There is an award winning vegetarian / vegan dining concept located in Mainstreet Market in the Cone University Center.
